What do I pay during the pilot, and what happens after 3 months?
Tomes Present Pro is $100/month for your first 3 months, and your first $100 payment is collected at checkout. During month 3 we ask which plan you want to continue with. If no plan change is selected before the pilot ends, your subscription continues on Tomes Present Pro at $399/month.
Do I pay a setup fee?
No. The standard $500 setup fee is waived for pilot offices, so the $100/month pilot rate is the only thing you pay to get started. Onboarding support is included at no extra charge.
Am I billed in Canadian or US dollars?
You choose at checkout. We pre-select a currency from where the request comes from, but you confirm it yourself before paying and can switch to the other one. CAD and USD are both real prices at the same figure rather than a conversion: the pilot is $100 a month in whichever currency you pick.
Is there an annual contract?
No. There is no annual contract and no long-term commitment. After the 3-month pilot rate ends, your subscription continues month to month on the plan you choose.
When does my pilot period actually start?
Once your office is onboarded and has access, not on the day you pay. Your first payment is collected at checkout, and the 3 months start when your office can actually use Tomes Present.
What is the difference between Tomes Present Core and Tomes Present Pro?
Tomes Present Core ($199/month) is for simple, polished treatment presentations. Tomes Present Pro ($399/month) adds customization, patient engagement analytics, advanced branding and follow-up insights. Your pilot runs on Pro, so you see the full product before deciding which one to continue on.
How is patient data handled?
Patient data is stored in Canadian data centres, encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never used to train third-party models. Patients open their presentation from a private link with no account and no login, and those links are excluded from search engines. Treatment plan files you upload are deleted as soon as the plan has been generated from them, and are purged automatically within a day even if that step fails.
